Meet Our Team

Sandy Newman joined William Blount & Associates in 1998 as a Personal Lines Account Manager. As the agency grew, so did Sandy’s involvement with the day-to-day operations of the agency; She is now the Vice President of Operations. She is the one who keeps the agency running smoothly as she is responsible for the bookkeeping, information technology and human resources.  As many hats as Sandy wears, her primary passion will always be servicing her personal lines clients who she has come to know well over the past 15 years.

Sandy has been working in the insurance industry since 1991. She is originally from Chicago and moved to Knoxville in 1996 with her husband and 2 daughters. She loves to spend her free time exploring the mountains, camping, hiking, fishing and traveling. Sandy has yet to find a good Chicago style pizza in Knoxville, so if you have any suggestions, please let us know!
